Harold's Tableware Rentals was established by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cohen in 1958. Their novel idea of renting dishes for parties proved to be a great success. In later years they developed on this idea and expanded the business to include rental of chairs, tables, and expansive tabletop accessories. Throughout this time Harold’s Rentals has emphasized quality and service while becoming a household name.

Today, Harold’s Tableware Rentals operates from its location at 894 Caledonia Road. This location is central, making the downtown core easily accessible. Throughout our long history, Harold’s main focus has continued to be on quality and service.

Over the years our expansion plans have consisted of the creation of a linen department, specializing in round, coloured, unusual florals and fabrics. We have our own In-House Laundry to maintain a high standard of quality. From our immense inventory, we are sure that your needs will be satisfied. We believe that ordering by the dozen causes extra unnecessary expense, and therefore when ordering from Harold’s Tableware the quantity needed is all that need be ordered.

When a bond has been created with either a caterer, person or institution, we have shown our willingness to assist them with their unique ideas by purchasing items or lines of dishes in order to improve their business and uniqueness.

Our client base of over 5000 per year, ranges from house parties for as few as 2 people to major city events holding 1000 people. Many of the G.T.A’s Caterers use our services and are always pleased with our eagerness to satisfy their needs (no matter how small or difficult).

At Harold’s Tableware Rentals we do more than just rent dishes. We work very closly with ASAP Tent Rental Company in providing you with the necessary tents and equipment that you may require.

A tent can help set the ambiance for that perfect evening. Tent decorations, rentals, lighting, tent liner’s, dance floor, carpet, heating and air conditioning all can make a cinematic experience of your party.

On average you will require about 15 square feet of space per guest for an average dinner party. We have provided some sample sizes to show you.

If you are having a Cocktail Party, then you will only need about 10 square feet of space per guest because they do not require as much furniture.
